What’s new for the Redmi Note 10 Pro

Xiaomi’s Redmi range usually attracts a lot of attention. They are devices with high quality and very interesting features offering an excellent price-quality ratio. In the specific case of the Redmi Note 10 Pro, we are facing a smartphone that offers a great experience and has many strengths.

This device is not thick, despite the fact that it has a sizable battery. In addition, its weight remains below 200 grams (193 to be more specific), so it is not heavy to use it for a long time. But these features are not what make the Redmi Note 10 Pro stand out. We tell you why it is a very interesting mid-range device.

120 Hz display

This is one of the highlights of Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 10 Pro. The device features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. However, what stands out most is not its 394 pixels per inch, nor its contrast ratio (4,500,000:1), but its maximum refresh rate that reaches up to 120 hertz.

This is an outstanding feature that would not be expected in a mid-range smartphone like this one. However, it is a welcome feature, as it greatly improves the fluidity of the device. With 60 Hz a demanding app or a scroll can cause a slowdown of the phone, but with 120 Hz everything will move very smoothly and fluidly.

Of course, you should consider that a higher refresh rate has an impact on battery consumption. Of course, this will not be a big problem considering that the brand has made an effort to incorporate a high-capacity battery.

Great battery with ultra-fast charging.

Since we have already started talking about the battery, let’s get into more details, since it is one of the novelties of this Xiaomi device. Although this model is not particularly thick, it houses a battery with a capacity of 5,020 mAh. This guarantees more than a day of autonomy, which can even reach a day and a half or two, depending on the use you give your phone.

In addition, this smartphone supports fast charging up to 33w and the included charger has this power. Fast charging is a feature designed to minimize charging times of phones which allows you to recover up to 30% of its charge in just over 5 minutes of charging. The full charge of the Redmi Note 10 Pro, from 0 to 100%, is obtained in 1 hour and 20 minutes with the device turned off. In 25 minutes, 50% of the charge is recovered. Not bad, right?

108 MP camera

Photography lovers may be seduced by this 108 MP camera and especially because this device has the most advanced camera system in its category.

On the back it has four cameras: the main, 108 MP with a ƒ/1.9 aperture lens; an ultra wide-angle with 8 MP sensor and ƒ/2.2 aperture; Telemacro with 5 MP sensor and ƒ/2.4 aperture; and a 2MP sensor for depth with ƒ/2.4 aperture. Meanwhile, the front camera is 16 MP and has an ƒ/2.45 aperture lens.

Remarkable performance

Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 10 Pro features the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, with eight cores and 2.3 GHz of maximum power, and the MIUI 12 customization layer, based on Android 11. According to the company, this configuration makes the mobile faster and more efficient.

This device has a smooth operation; you can easily switch between apps and it responds to multiple tasks without heating up. For those who like to play games, this device has a mode that optimizes performance for games and also allows you to adapt certain parameters such as screen sensitivity.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro is somewhat reminiscent of its predecessor, the Redmi Note 9 Pro. However, there are aspects in which it stands out more such as its screen and autonomy. In addition, despite being large, it is comfortable to hold and has a good construction. Undoubtedly a good bet for those looking for a good quality smartphone, with an attractive design and great features for a price that will surely make it even more attractive.
